Swedish band Dead Vibrations who are signed to UK record label Fuzz Club records swung by the Tapetown studios to record a couple of tracks before their gig at the RECession festival in Aarhus, Denmark.
‘ Last month, Swedish neo-psych/shoegaze rockers, Dead Vibrations dropped by Tapetown studios for a live performance before they were set to perform the next day at RECession festival taking place at the local venue RADAR. The band went through three songs in the studio, of which two has appeared on YouTube – “Reflections” and “Chemical Hug” – you can find them through the YouTube link alongside plenty of other great alternative bands. The band went on to swing by the studio later to play a diy concert as part of their Scandinavian tour in connection with the new release of their debut album.
The Live at Tapetown series features various alternative bands within genres like punk rock, noise, indie, lo-fi, shoegaze, dream-pop, punk, indie and other “similar” genres. All the bands perform a song or more at the recording studio, that is then mixed at the facilities and mastered by the mastering techs at ET Mastering, also residing at the studio complex of Lydhavnen in central Aarhus.
